Apr / 26Scope of Work
This medium-scale project involved a complete Fortified roof replacement for a historic French Quarter property. The project required careful coordination to maintain the architectural integrity while upgrading storm protection capabilities. Our team performed a full tear-off of the existing roofing system and installed new Fortified-compliant materials. The project scope included enhanced structural reinforcement and upgraded ventilation systems to meet Louisiana’s demanding weather requirements.
Methods & Materials
We utilized premium Owens Corning Driftwood architectural shingles, selected for their superior wind resistance and aesthetic appeal. The installation followed strict Fortified Gold standards, incorporating enhanced deck attachment, sealed roof deck, and ring-shank nails throughout. Our experienced French Quarter roofing specialists employed specialized techniques to navigate the unique challenges of historic district construction. All materials were carefully selected to complement the neighborhood’s distinctive character while providing maximum storm protection.
